    Ana Chavira
    Mission Coordinator – Aspen
    I am very passionate about joining the Susan G. Komen Colorado team in April 2015. My mother is a breast cancer survivor, and I have seen the struggle she faced due to language and economic barriers. This has pushed my desire to educate and help Hispanic women in my Valley. As a native to Colorado and the Roaring Fork Valley and having lived in the Western Slope all my life, I am very familiar with all the Aspen area. I will obtaining my BA in Education in Fall 2016 from Colorado Mesa University.

    Bridgid Dunlap
    Director of Development
    Bridgid joined the Komen Colorado team in August 2016. With over 12 years of professional experience, Bridgid most recently served as the head of the development and communications at the Home Builders Foundation of Denver, working tirelessly to provide accessible home modifications to those in need. Previously, she worked at EF Educational Tours in various capacities, sharing her love of travel with students worldwide. Bridgid graduated from Boston University in 2004 with a degree in communications. When she’s not at work, she likes traveling to exotic places, hosting dinner parities, and learning to mountain bike.

    Barbara Hunter
    Director of Finance and Operations
    Barbara Hunter joined the Komen Colorado team in April of 2014. She brings over fifteen years of senior level experience for a mix of corporate, educational and nonprofit organizations to her role as Director for Finance and Operations of Susan G. Komen Colorado. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance, both from The George Washington University.  She is an outdoor enthusiast, loves to travel and enjoys her creative side with pottery, glasswork and fabric arts.

    Nicole Kazenske
    Accounting Clerk
    Nicole joined the Komen Colorado team in September 2014. She received her B.A. from Rutgers University. Having been an avid supporter of the Komen Race for the Cure, she was thrilled to join the team. She spends her time volunteering at her son’s schools and various neighborhood events. She and her family have lived in Colorado for years, and love to take advantage of all that Colorado has to offer.

    Jackie López
    Marketing and Communications Coordinator
    Jackie joined the Komen Colorado team in July of 2015. She is very excited to have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community. Jackie holds a BA in Marketing & Spanish from the University of Central Florida and brings 3 years of professional experience with non-profit organizations. In her time off, she enjoys the back country activities as well as the city life. Above all, Jackie loves to travel!

    Kathy McCall
    Development Manager
    Kathy began her career at Komen Colorado in July 2007 and currently serves as the Development Manager. Her prior work experience includes Educational Services at The Denver Post, grant writing and database management at The Denver Dumb Friends League and Manager of her family’s 45 year business, Harold’s Flowers. She grew up and still lives in the Park Hill area of Denver and graduated cum laude with a BA from the University of Colorado at Denver.


    Mary Miller
    Mission Coordinator – Denver
    Mary joined the Komen Colorado team in May 2015 after more than five years’ experience in nonprofits and community development. Before Komen Colorado, Mary served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nicaragua and worked with several national and international nonprofits in various capacities. She moved to Denver in 2012 to attend graduate school at the University of Denver and instantly fell in love with everything Colorado has to offer. When not working at Komen, Mary enjoys cooking, traveling, and being in the great outdoors.

    Toni Panetta
    Director of Mission Programs
    Toni Panetta joined Komen Colorado in 2013 as the Director of Mission Programs. Toni brings more than 12 years of experience in the non-profit, public and political sectors. Active in her community, Toni serves on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Lobby of Colorado and previously served on the Denver Women’s Commission and the Young Professional Board for Project C.U.R.E. Toni holds a BA from Whittier College, an MA from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.

    Erin Stoen
    Events Manager
    Erin joined the Komen Colorado team in June of 2015 and serves as the Events Manager. After traveling the country for school, she landed in Denver and fell in love with events. Thriving in the chaotic, ever-changing industry, she is committed to a career in the event world. Erin holds a BA in Communication Arts from New York Institute of Technology and a MA in Sport Administration from University of Northern Colorado.

    Juliana Wierimaa
    Development Coordinator
    Juliana joined the Komen Colorado team in May of 2014. She comes to us as a recent graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BA in Hospitality, Tourism and Events. Outside of Komen, Juliana loves kickball, chai tea and traveling.
